Powerball winner scoops $50m jackpot

A SINGLE entry has won $50 million in tonight's Powerball draw.
It was the biggest ever South Australian win in a Powerball draw and continued a run of big lottery payouts this year.
The winning numbers were 7, 25, 17, 28, 2 while the Powerball number was 26.
SA Lotteries is yet to confirm where the ticket was purchased or where the winner lives.

On Wednesday night, a mystery South Australian won $1 million after buying a ticket at the Naracoorte Hotel in the South-East.
So far this year, South Australians have won more than $222 million in lotto.
Only three months ago, a West Lakes mum won $24.9 million in Oz Lotto, which at the time was the state's third biggest win.
SA'S record lotto winner was a western suburbs man who won $53.2 million on June 30, 2009.

Last night's win eclipsed for second place a $25 million Oz Lotto win in June 2007.
