Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has withdrawn from the Italy squad for Wednesday's friendly
with England
in Switzerland because of conjunctivitis.
The eye infection forced the 22-year-old out of City's
Community Shield win against Chelsea on Sunday

"Rather than spark another club versus country row,
England manager Roy Hodgson has taken the opportunity to experiment. The
established names have been given a rest and youth has been given a
chance."
