THE iPhone 5 will be released not on August 7 but on September 12, according to the latest on the rumour mill.
Tech website iMore claims "sources that have proven accurate in the
past" say that Apple will unveil both the next-generation iPhone and
iPad mini on September 12.
iMore has a strong track record in
successfully predicting Apple release dates. The website correctly
reported the release date for the new iPad (March 7) and pre-order dates
for the iPhone 4S.
Meanwhile Apple shares shot through the roof after the news of the unconfirmed iPhone release date made its way online.
So
what will the new iPhone 5 look like? Last Saturday a Japanese website
reported that it had assembled the phone using leaked parts. At a
predicted four inches, the iPhone 5 is likely to be longer than the
existing iPhone.
